The simple, clear style of Ruq'ah script makes it ideal for students starting Arabic calligraphy. Join master calligraphers in this 4 session course to develop your own calligraphy and explore this beautiful world of Islamic Art.

Focus on one of the many different types of art found at MIA! Using basic geometry tools such as compass and ruler, learn how to create a pattern using a net of interlocking circles, and then how to join points of that net together to create a geometric pattern similar to those found in many Islamic Art objects.
