This special event combines a guided tour through MIA’s Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran, led by curator Nicoletta Fazio, and a curated 5-course dinner at IDAM, helmed by multiple Michelin star decorated chef Alain Ducasse.
Ingredients and spices from the menu are inspired by the book Dining at the Safavid Court, a tome translated from the original accounts of Nurollah, chef to the most renowned Shah of the Safavid Dynasty.
