Every month, we will be taking inspiration from MIA’s exciting collection. For April’s Family Day, join us to learn more about the world of Islamic geometric art, where simple shapes transform into intricate patterns.

Families will engage in hands-on creative activities inspired by these timeless designs, learning how circles, squares, and stars come together to form beautiful, symmetrical compositions. Through interactive workshops, children and parents will explore the meanings behind these patterns, their significance in Islamic art and architecture, and how they have been used for centuries in mosques, manuscripts, and textiles.
