The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Library Film Club is a fantastic opportunity for cinema enthusiasts to come together and explore Islamic art, culture, and history through the lens of film.
This month's film isAralkum by Daniel Asadi Faezi and Mila Zhluktenko, exploring the environmental devastation of the Aral Sea and the lives of those navigating its transformed landscape.
The screening will also include a curator-led tour of Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion by Reem Aboughazala, assistant curator at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA).
Please note that the curator-led tour will be offered exclusively to Film Club members.
