Once a space for home, storytelling, and community, the gara öý (black house) yurt now becomes a place of learning within the MIA Library. Visitors will explore culture, memory, and shared narratives through books and conversation, all within the experience of this yurt.
Step inside a traditional Turkmen yurt from northern Afghanistan and explore centuries of nomadic heritage and craftsmanship.
