A panel discussion and a curator-led tour offering insight into the vision, stories, and creative context behind Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion and, exploring Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary creative landscape.

Join us for an engaging panel discussion that will bring together key voices from Uzbekistan and the Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion exhibition to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage, the ideas and collaborations that shaped the exhibition, and the role of heritage and creativity in fostering new connections and conversations today.

The panel discussion will be followed by a curator-led tour, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the exhibition through the perspective of its creators and gain deeper insights into the stories and works on display.

The panel will feature:

  • Bobirmirzo Sayamov, head of the Creative Economy Sector of the President’s Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who will discuss Uzbekistan’s creative economy and the wider context of the Arts and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF).
  • Anastasiya Silkatcheva, curator of Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion, who will share insights into the exhibition’s vision, concept, stories, and the curatorial process behind its development.
