Ektashif Programme

Ektashif is an annual educational art trip for Qatari Artists organised by the Museum of Islamic Art that aims to support artists and provide them with new skills in traditional and Islamic arts.

During this trip, artists visit cities, historical sites to see Islamic architecture and practical art workshops to learn traditional arts at the hands of expert craftsmen and artists. The discovery journey is a bridge of communication between Qatar and the rest of the world which aims to establish close relations and strong ties in the world of Islamic art.
