Exciting Programmes

We provide regular learning opportunities for all age groups, including calligraphy and art workshops and courses, talks and tours for young people and adults, and family walk-in activities. Tailored programmes, tours and materials are created for each of our special exhibitions.

We offer special activities and tours for schools, each aligned with SEC curriculum requirements. Academics and experts visiting the museum give frequent lectures and seminars as part of MIA’s public programme.

Vibrant Spaces

Learning takes place in MIA’s beautiful galleries and auditorium, and in the Education Centre’s lively workshops and classrooms.

MIA’s library has a wide range of books for the study of our collection and Islamic Art and is a peaceful setting for reading and research.
