In the town of Souk al Gharb in Lebanon, there is an abandoned building which was once known as ‘Beit isaad al toufoula’ (childhood happiness home) school.
This school served as a residence for children of Palestinian martyrs from Lebanon, the West Bank, Syria, and Jordan during the period from 1964 to 1982. During its active years, the school fostered the development of various groups, including athletes, scouts, and artistic teams.
Notably, the Palestinian folk troupe originated from these groups, showcasing their performances not only in Lebanon but also internationally.
In an effort to reconnect with that historical period, individuals who were former students of the school come together to revisit those memories. They do so by sharing present-day images that capture the essence of the school's past and the experiences of the students during that time.
