Share with a friend

This talk will be delivered by Dr. Al Anoud bint Ahmed Al Thani, author of The Experience of Good Governance in Qatar: Drivers of Sustainable Development and Community Empowerment (1995–2013).

The talk will shed light on this important period in Qatar’s modern history, the legacy of the Father Amir, and how Qatar invested its resources in developing people and institutions, achieving sustainable development, and strengthening its regional and international standing. It will also explore how the country continued to build upon this legacy following the transition of power in 2013 to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
