Visitor Notice

Please note that the Corniche road in front of the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will be closed from Thursday, 9 October at 10pm until Sunday, 12 October at 5am. During this time, the museum’s main gate will not be accessible.

Visitors can access the museum through Gate No. 2, located behind Qatar Museums Gallery – Al Riwaq.

Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9am–9pm
Friday: 1:30pm–7pm
Saturday: 9am–7pm

MIA Park is open 24 hours.

Getting Here

The museum is accessible by car, taxi or by one of our free shuttle buses. There is a taxi stand inside the museum parking area, and taxis can also be hailed on the Corniche, outside the museum’s front gate.

Please note: The museum’s limited parking spaces fill up very quickly, particularly on weekends. During major events in MIA Park, the car park is closed.
