Visitor Note

The Corniche Road, from the Al-Sharq Intersection to the National Theatre, will be closed on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, from 6am to 5pm. During this time, the main gate will not be accessible.

Visitors can access MIA through Gate No. (2) behind Al Riwaq by taking Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya Street (near the Mövenpick Hotel and Woqod station), then continuing toward Old Doha Port Street to reach the gate.

Kindly note that this alternative route may also be temporarily closed during the movement of official delegations.

MIA Park is open 24 hours.

Getting Here

The museum is accessible by car, taxi or by one of our free shuttle buses. There is a taxi stand inside the museum parking area, and taxis can also be hailed on the Corniche, outside the museum’s front gate.

Please note: The museum’s limited parking spaces fill up very quickly, particularly on weekends. During major events in MIA Park, the car park is closed.
